Who We Are

Banyule Interfaith Network (BIN) is a network of representatives from the different faiths and cultural groups that reside or meet within or near the city of Banyule.

Our aim is to create an opportunity for people of different faiths and cultural groups to meet and learn from one another in a spirit of dialogue and peace.

We recognise that each group has a unique faith or cultural story and as such has a unique value for our society. We aim to both celebrate each unique story and the diversity that it brings to Banyule and to identify common threads and themes in our stories that may be the basis for unity.

We aim to ensure that the celebration of diversity and unity that arises from dialogue will have practical outcomes and value for the whole Banyule community.
